MERGING THE WORLDS OF ART & AUTISM TO CREATE COMMUNITY

"I Am Able!" is a heartwarming and empowering story that celebrates the unique strengths and abilities of children on the autism spectrum. Through vibrant illustrations and an inspiring narrative, this book shows young readers that they are capable of achieving anything they set their minds to. Centered around a joyful little Black boy, the story merges the colorful world of art with the journey of self-discovery, embracing the beauty of neurodiversity.

By creating a sense of community and understanding, "I Am Able!" helps children, parents, and educators build confidence in the capabilities of autistic children. With every turn of the page, it encourages young readers to embrace their individuality, celebrate their differences, and realize that they are truly able to thrive in their own way. Through this book, MiJais Creative seeks to raise awareness and foster a space of love, acceptance, and creativity for all.

This project is deeply personal to Myeisha, and is dedicated to her son KJ. With a heart for children with special abilities, Myeisha's purpose is to use her creative gifts to uplift them and help create a community where they truly belong.
